After some quick calculations, it looks like I will be finishing both my projects ‘Global University Entrance Examination’ and ‘Misplacement Game’ around the same time. There is still some time before I’m done with them but I just wanted to start looking around for my next project (Or projects. May pick up two but I’m not sure yet).

Update 17/08/2020: Thank you everyone for your suggestions! I still haven’t had the time to properly go through them and decide because I’ve been focusing on finishing my translations. I will probably (hopefully) decide on something by the end of the week so you’re still welcome to leave recommendations here until then~
Update 24/08/2020: I’ve narrowed down the list and have contacted several of them but so far nothing has been finalised yet (haven’t been very successful š). I do have a few other novels in mind but I’m still undecided….I originally only wanted to pick up one main one and then maaaaybe a second one on the side (depending on difficulty of the first one) but because I’m having so much difficulty deciding, I think I might end up with choosing two (I honestly want to translate them all but that’s like 6 or 7 different novels hahaha). Anyway, recommendations are still welcome but I’ll probably just try and choose from the novels I have narrowed down my list to (unless of course your recommendation interests me a lot and I decide to discard that list completely). I’ll make an announcement with my new projects once I’m about to finish my current ones so look forward to it!!

I’ve contacted Sigma about it and it seems that Sigma is still actively working on ‘Welcome to the Nightmare Game’ and doesn’t wish to drop it. Honestly, my translation quality will never be as good as Sigma’s anyway so I’m just happy they’re going to continue working on it. Let’s just patiently wait for the next update~ ^^

Haha I was also gonna suggest Welcome to the Nightmare Game! But it is a trilogy so it would be. Very long if you decided to do all three! Horror steampunk world, I really love it! But I’ll read anything you end up translating most likely, so thank you for whatever you decide on!

I’ve seen the novel mentioned a lot but I’ve knew it was steampunk. I’m a sucker for the steampunk genre but it’s rare to find so I’ll definitely keep this on my radar in case it gets picked up.

‘Hypocritical Adonis’ has an interesting premise, though I have only read two chapters. The translator who picked up hasn’t updated for around 4 months.

This might be a bit mean for me to say but I really wish you could pick up ‘A Crowd of Evil Spirits Lines Up to Confess to Me’ since the current translator updates 1/4 of a chapter twice a week. The translations are pretty good though so sorry for whining to you about this.

I really like Fantasy Farm. It was previously being translated on Chrysanthemum Garden, but was dropped due to personal reasons.

Can you try āStrange Life of a Catā Itās not BL or horror but please give it a look! The MC is an average dude who was reborn into the past as a black cat. Itās a slice of life and thereās no romance. The book is already finished in its COO and is pretty popular. Or at least my mom also read it.

Translating status is pretty messy. The first arc was completed by one translator. Someone on CG picked up with the second arc but stopped 3-4 months ago. Another site picked up from the stop but they couldnāt commit to a regular schedule and havenāt updated since the August 2nd. Additionally, it got picked up by another translator on CG, but they started from the first chapter/first arc. I have little hope for a regular/long-lasting translator time to pick up this novel, but I really like it! Please consider š„ŗ

Hi there āŗ i know 99.9% that my rec is not gonna be The Chosen One but i’ll do it anyway. It’s a Korean novel so since you’ve never done Korean b4 so there goes my hope but anyway… the title is ź²ģėė¹, ź²ģėė¹ė ģ“ėź°ģ ė¬¼ģ ė§ģ¤ź¹ or known as Black Butterfly, Where Does the Black Butterfly Go Drink Water.
And this is an old like super old novel that i can’t even find it on Amazon or wherever it is available anymore. Not even the 2ndhand. So sad but i’ve been reading this novel since day one Hwarang translates it but now she’s gone MIA (i hope u r doin okay Hwarang) so there’s no one picking it up from the cobweb of unfinished BL on NU. The translated chapters are still safe and sound on the web so you might want to try read it first to get the feel. Anyway below is the synopsis I abducted from NU:
Jude Green caught a serial killer who put New York into a big panic. The serial killerās name was Alvin Johns. Alvin looked normal like a regular salary man, but underneath his basement, there were many bodies tortured and killed. It became a big issue because the killer looked totally normal and nice looking young man. Jude was the guy who put cuff on his wrist.
During the interrogation, Alvin told the detectives and the profilers that he wonāt talk unless he gets interrogated by Detective Jude. Jude was annoyed, but he didnāt have any choice but to interrogate Alvin. They were in the room, and Alvin asked Jude how he was able to figure out where he was. Alvin tells Jude they are very similar, and they will meet again. Jude thought it was a little weird how Alvin said they will meet again, but he didnāt care that much. Later he hears Alvin ran away, killing one guard. He left a small note saying, āSee you again. Iāll write you, Detective J. I wasnāt joking.ā
After Alvin escaped, he constantly wrote Jude letters, and Jude kept that a secret. During those time, Jude solves some murder cases, but Alvis pops out and helps Jude whenever Jude needs helpā¦.

ĆXuanhuan: Not sure if you would be interested in this genre, but if you are So What if You Been Reborn or Cherry Blossoms Upon a Wintry Sword are pretty cool choices
ĆFantasy: Never marry a man with Two Tintins; very well written, sadly hasnāt been updated since April, probably dropped and Chinese Almanac Master (Just 90 chaps, but looks really cool)
ĆModern: Salad Days (60 chaps, story of a ballet boy and a boxer boy, really adorable)

So Iām not usually one to post, but I do love your translations. Youāre probably one of the better ones in my opinion. My likes are honestly all over the place when it comes to BL. I would love to see either Raising a Bun with a Daily Life System OR Transmigrated to a Primitive World to Build Infrastructure. Both of these stories are amazing but arenāt updated consistently even though theyāve had multiple TL pick them up. Just letting you know in advance that RBWDLS is a mpreg which not many people are into. Honestly, Iād probably read any story that you pick up.
